C’RIVER Police Command Introduces “Information Boxes” for security information to the police

In and effort to clampdown on criminal elements and make cross River save and secure, the state commissioner of police, CP Gyogon Augustine Grimah has introduced information boxes at strategic pubic places, Area Command Headquarters/ Divisional level to enable members of the public pass security information to the police undercover
The cross River police boss made the disclosure in his office at the police headquarters in calabar during his maiden press briefing.
He maintained that it is the command’s resolve to consciously operate on the principles of justice, equity and rules of law as enshrined in the extant laws of the state and Federation as operational guide in enforcement of law and order which is their core constitutional mandate
CP Grimah reiterated the command’s commitment in waging total clampdown against criminals
indulging in kidnapping, cultism, and armed robbery in the state and its environs, he also assured that the police command under his
watch is fully committed to the Governor’s goal of providing safe and secured cross River State
He said he had been duly briefed on the security architecture of the state, and that he has strategically mapped out a robust onslaught on intelligence driven policing, deployment of officers and men for visibility policing
The police boss maintained that the police alone can not accomplish that without collaborative effort of members of the public, he therefore appealed to them to continue in crime fighting through information dissemination to the police
