Gov Otu Inaugurates 31 member cabinet in C’River

Cross River State Governor, prince Bassey Edet Otu has sworn – in 31 new commissioners, with 7 women and 24 men  into his executive council with a charge on service delivery 

In his remarks during the inauguration, the Governor charged the new commissioners to be dedicated,  diligence with a sense of responsibility towards service delivery 

Charging them he said, “the challenge is not mine alone but all of us. I know very well that all can not be appointed at the same time, but for those who are appointed, you are not answerable to me but God, so all your actions and intentions much be guided by God”.

 “most of you looking round are already tested and trusted. We share a common burden and that burden is to take cross River State to the next level and i want believe that after one week and then after the retreat where you must have resume fully, you will then understand the enormous challenge and responsibilities that we are”.

“We are not unmindful of the very great and big expectations that our people want  from us whether we like it or not, we must definitely turn the corner” he stressed.

He said further, “as you are going to your offices, definitely you will have challenges and criticisms but you must not be distracted provided you are doing what is right and what is good for the people”, he maintained.
