March 18 results: a consensus  reached by C’riverians-APC

The Cross River State chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Barr. Alphonsus Ogar Eba has said that the march 18 Governorship election results was a consensus reached by cross Riverians not to play politics of religion and ethnicity though some people tried to introduce ethnicity into our politics 

The party also maintained that the gubernatorial election results was a true reflection of love, unity

 and confidence cross Riverians have in the governor- elect, prince Bassey Otu and his ability to take the state to an enviable hight 

He said the party would be magnanimous in victory and would align with what the governor -elect said, that the party will run an all inclusive Government irrespective of political parties affiliation, stating that the government of prince Otu will assemble the best hands that will take cross River to the next level

The state chairman of APC said the party welcomes the cold language that was used by the candidate of the opposition PDP for the first time, adding that they have seen a friendly address where he addressed the governor -elect as a brother and a friend.

His words; “we would also want to embrace him, our tone will not be reactionary”. He stated that he wants cross River State to grow in unity,  peace and love which would fast track development of the state, maintaining that the state do not have the luxury of monies to wast, adding that the earlier they seat on the round table to look for the pathway of growth for the state, the better for every body.

Though he said they won’t stop anybody, party or group who wants to ventilate his or her views using the appropriate legal measures to do so
