The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter has inaugurated a 13 man new State executive led by Apostle Trinity Ogar who is the General Overseer of Gold City Church as the chairman while Apostle Frank Umoh is the state Deputy chairman
Apostle Trinity Ogar led executive is the 9th PFN body in cross River who took over the mantle of the christian Fellowship administration from Rev.lawrence Ekwok whose tenure expired on the 7th May 2023 after serving the fellowship meritoriously for eight years
and was officially dissolved by the National vice president south south, Apostle prince David Zilly Aggrey
The inauguration of the new leadership of the christian Fellowship in cross River was attended by senior members of the christian Fellowship across the country which includes, the National vice president south south, Apostle David Zilly Aggrey, the national publicity secretary, Bishop Emmah Isong, the south south secretary of PFN and the National inauguration chairman, Archbishop Joseph Ojo
Inaugurating the New Executive, Archbishop Joseph Ojo commended the former PFN Boss in the state, Rev Ekwok for a good job done especially keeping to the prompt payment of dues and attending all their meetings in the last eight years of his leadership of the fellowship in the state
He admonished the New chairman and his team to do even more better than his predecessor stressing that though the Ekwok led exco have left a very big shoe for him to fit in but prayed for God’s grace upon him to lead PFN in the state well
In his valedictory massage, Rev Ekwok outlined his achievements in his last eight years as chairman of PFN in the state which includes expansion of PFN to local government areas and to all the wards in the state, keeping the state financial records up to date with the National and attending all the National Executive Council meeting of PFN in the last eight years without missing any
Responding soon after he was inaugurated, the PFN Chairman, Apostle Trinity Ogar in his speech said,”I may not be every body’s choice, but for God to have allowed this day to happen, I’am God’s choice”.
He stressed that God who gave him the position will give him the grace and the wisdom to move PFN forward.
He added, “as I accept the enormous task and responsibilities today, I want to make a public commitment that we shall rule with ethics and respect authorities and integrity and above all, we shall rule with the fear of God”.
