As criticism continue to trail the adoption  of  the Peoples Democratic party Guber candidate, senator Sandy Onor by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Cross River State chapter

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who is also the commissioner for rural transformation, Mr Edem Okokon Effiom has said that the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Cross River State chapter and its leadership are suppose to be men and women of honour

He stressed that PFN has not shown honesty in what they have done, stating that they are bias in their actions which can not be said of the people we call men and women of God, “they have not shown truth and sincerity in the adoption of Prof. Sandy Onor”.

“Let PFN stay away from politics before it will destroy their ministries, their calling is to propagate the gospel of Jesus Christ and not to dabble into politics”.

Mr Effiom maintained that when men of God begin to gamble then every body is in trouble including their immediate followers.

He stated that Sandy and Otu are  christians, and as men of God PFN  should pray to God to give us the best that will lead the people with the fear of God and not for them to choose for the people, and then use the church of God as campaign ground instead of using it for the purpose of preaching.

“PFN  should do away from bringing the name of God into the state of disrepute and ridicule, our God is not bias”

“They should know what they are doing so that they do not have internal crises among their members who are supporters of party ‘A’ or party ‘B’,he maintained.
