Comm. For Rural Transformation Congratulates Gov elect, Prince Otu

The Honourable Commissioner for rural transformation, Mr Edem Okokon Effiom has congratulated the APC gubernatorial candidate in Cross River, senator Bassey Otu and the party’s candidate who will represent Akpabuyo in the state house of assembly, Hon Bassey Effiong Bassey for their respective success in the Saturday, March 18 election
Effiom in his message of congratulations described their victories as the wish of the people, said the duo have the capacity to bring changes in their respective offices
According to him, “prince Otu, has served as a member in the green and red Chambers of the national assembly, therefore, he is well equipped and groomed as the incoming Governor of Cross River State because of his wealth of experience and exposure”
He commended Cross Riverians and residents in the state for supporting the Back To South Agenda which culminated in the success of Prince Otu in the polls , adding that it shows their belief in equity and fair play as well as the observance of the rotational arrangements of governorship position amongst the three senatorial districts in the state
Effiom described Hon Bassey Effiong Bassey as a grassroot man with capacity as well as eloquent and articulate enough to readdress the story of Akpabuyo in the state house of Assembly
However, the commissioner lauded the people of Akpabuyo for supporting APC in the presidential and national assembly elections as well as their support in choosing a new Governor for the state.
