We’ll come out with reforms that will help the administration of justice in C’River -Ani

The Honourable commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of cross River State, Barr. Ededem Charles Ani has said that he will come out with reforms that would help the administration of justice system in the State

Barr Ani who spoke to journalists recently in calabar said, that his appointment as Justice commissioner in Cross River State will give him the opportunity to cont ribute his quoter to the development of the state, having worked with one of the best Law firms in the country,( Awa Kalu and partners) for over 10years before putting up his own Law firm in Abuja, (Charles and Louis)

The commissioner said, he would create a harmonious working relationship with the judiciary workers in the state such that they will be fulfilled working with the government, but maintained that to whom much is given, much will also be expected.He sued for team  work and cooperation of the workers to make his enormous  tasks an easy one.

He added that his immediately goal is to assist the Governor, Prince Bassey Otu in tackling the menace of armed robbery, kidnapping and violence crime in the state through the criminal justice, stressing that he would seek for a stronger relationship with the stakeholders in the system, like the high court, the police and the authorities of the Nigeria Correctional center in the state

He said further that the administration want to have a private sector come in and invest, stressing that the only thing that will make them come in and invest is if they are assured that there is no risk doing business in the state, and one of the pillars of assurance is resolution of commercial dispute

Ani promised to put in place machinery whereby they will, efficiently and effectively resolve commercial dispute within the ambient of the law to attract would be investors.
